Creating a Prepared Toddler Environment
Project Spotlight | Sunny Hollow Montessori | August 2026
In August 2026, Guiding Growth partnered with Sunny Hollow Montessori to prepare and launch a new toddler classroom for the Fall 2026 school year.
Maegan, Laura, and Jessica collaborated throughout the process, from planning and sourcing materials to arranging the classroom environment and supporting the new guide in preparing for the arrival of children.
Together, we created a DHS-approved, authentic Montessori environment thoughtfully designed to support young children's independence, movement, exploration, and development.
This project reflects Guiding Growth's collaborative approach to consulting: combining intentional environment preparation, carefully selected materials, and support for educators to create a classroom ready to welcome children and families.
At Guiding Growth, we believe that preparing a classroom means more than arranging furniture and materials. It means creating an environment where children can feel secure, explore freely, and develop at their own pace, while educators feel equipped to guide their growth.
